Adopt-A-Highway Clean Up June 1st Sign Up Today!

The Lebanon County Democratic Committee adopted a 3 mile stretch of Rt. 117 over 10 years ago with the help of Bobbie Warshaw and Paul Heise. Now we need your help to keep it beautiful. Clean ups take place twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall.

Our next clean up will be held on
Saturday, JUNE 1ST at 9AM

Where Should I Report On June 1st?
All volunteers should report to the large parking lot next to Porch & Pantry restaurant in Mt. Gretna (106 Chautauqua Dr, Mt Gretna, PA 17064). Upon your arrival you will be given instructions, materials, and team assignments.  We will depart to our assigned areas at 9:15AM.

What should I bring?
PennDot provides gloves, bags, and vests, but you may bring your own gloves and bags if you prefer.

What should I wear?
Bright colors and comfortable shoes for walking on pavement and uneven gravel or dirt.

What distance will I be walking?
We estimate most volunteers will walk a total of one to two miles.

Can kids participate?
Volunteers must be age 8 or older. Children ages 8 to 17 must have parental permission to participate.
